Your spring quantity is high for your frame dimensions and will cause very close spring spacing. Too many springs makes a trampoline mat very hard and difficult for normal sized jumpers to enjoy.

Instead of spring holes, some older trampolines use a zig-zagged rod welded to the inside edge of the frame. This usually has more slots than are intended for use. The extra slots allow for attachment of more or less springs as desired.

If you liked the bounce of your old trampoline, it is usually best to copy its spring configuration. Given your frame dimensions we recommend a configuration of:
