The springs in a Square trampoline are positioned in a criss-cross fashion just as in rectangle trampoline, but there is not as much vertical movement in the mat. The quality of the bounce is similar to that of a Round Trampoline.
Result - Square Trampoline gives you the benefit of both Round and Rectangle Shapes.
In the Rectangle trampoline, the criss-cross setting of the springs gives a uniform bouncing surface over the trampoline. The springs work at a different rate to give a quicker response and a more powerful lift. It requires good trampolining skills to retain ones position in the center of the mat. Conventionally, Round trampolines give you more controlled bounce and are suitable for recreational purposes; a rectangular trampoline is more suitable for professional sports training for professional sport as it gives more airtime. |
